What does voltage converter/ voltage transformer mean?
Voltage converters / voltage transformers are used to convert electricity from either higher to lower or lower to higher. North America and some other countries operate on 110V/120V AC 60Hz, while most of other countries operate on 220/240 Volts AC 50Hz. The voltage converters / transformers convert the power into different voltage so your equipment can be powered without being damaged.
